A graduate of Cooley Law School, Libby is on our team of attorneys. She brings agricultural experience to Sarah’s Law Firm, with her background of growing up on her family’s dairy farm. She understands the agricultural industry and the quirks that come with a family business. She strives to ensure you and your family get to put a plan in place that you want and understand. Never a fan of big legal words, she’ll try her best to not use them because most of them time they’re not necessary anyway.

Libby attended Michigan State University for Animal Science and Agri-Business Management. Go Green! She enjoyed her undergraduate learning more about business and her favorite animals – cows. Her two main species of study were cows and chickens. Cows found her at an early age growing up on the farm and chickens came into her life after a 5^th grade class project. This project and the teacher who taught it, changed her life.

Growing up, Libby was an active member in 4-H, showing all over the state and country. This experience allowed her to make lifelong connections and grow as a professional at a young age. While at Michigan State and during law school, Libby worked for the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in their Food and Dairy Division. In this role, she was able to see and understand how regulatory agencies operate.

When not at work, Libby enjoys spending time on Michigan’s Great Lakes paddle-boarding and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time in the gym and finding ways to make herself a better human along the way. After work most nights, you’ll find her on a walk with her Beagle, Dottie.
